"Make a note of that, Baring – Flying Corps Saying" An important and detailed account of the staff work performed by the RFC Headquarters in France, by a non-flying administrative officer. Baring went to France with the first commander of the RFC, David Henderson, and he continued to serve when Henderson was replaced by 'Boom' Trenchard. Falls notes: "He writes with a great deal of the charm shown in his other work… he evidently kept a careful diary" Item #68
