The Third Australian Division was an infantry unit of the Australian Imperial Force which was active during the First World War between 1916 and 1919. After a few years of inaction, the unit would be remobilised between 1922 and 1946 and then between 1948 and 1991. During the First World War, the Third Australian Division undertook operations in France and Belgium. The division was under the command of Major-General John Monash. Dornbusch, C.E.
