Tear at spine heads, insects bites along back cover edges, cover thumbed, leaves browned which is typical of the paper used at this period, otherwise a good copy. Signed and inscribed by the author in black ink 'Signed for Mr. W. S. Morrison, E. D. Oakley'. In the author's inscription, W. S. Morrison could refer to William Sheperd Morrison, 1st Viscount Dunrossil who was a British politician and who was the fourteenth Governor-General of Australia (2 February 1960 - 3 February 1961).

Jimmy of Murrumbar is a children's adventure story about an Australian indigenous boy who worked as a 'black tracker' for the police to hunt down criminals in the bush and mountain region of the Grampian Ranges of Victoria.

This publication is of a particular significance as it represents the life of Australian Indigenous after the colonisation as well as the changes perpetuated to this culture.
