Spine ends and corners a little bumped, gilt lettering on spine slightly faded, light spotting on edges of text block, light foxing on endpapers, small library stamp on front free endpaper and top edge of text block, dust-jacket is not the original. Otherwise a very good copy. An anecdotal account of the romantic era when man first dared the miracle of flight, from the Wright brothers to the outbreak of World War One, written by American foreign service officer and ambassador Henry Serrano Villard.
