Set of eight quarto issues, staple-bound, illustrated printed wrappers, total of 278 pp. (majority of issues 32 pp.), illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs. The covers of Vol. 40, Issue No. 2 and Vol. 40, No. 4 are a little worn; the edges of Vol. 43, No. 1 and Vol. 43, No. 2's covers are a little discoloured; the set is lacking Vol. 40, No. 3 (Summer 1985); otherwise a near-fine set. First edition.

The 82nd Airborne Division (also known as the All-Americans) was active in both World Wars and became well known for its parachute assaults into Sicily, Salerno, Normandy and Holland during World War Two. The brave members were also known to specialise in operations within hostile territories.

This journal is produced by the 82nd Airborne Division Association and provides subscribers with up-to-date information on the Division's former members along with articles on the history of the Division. The journal is still being produced today – a testament to the bond the members the Division had and the historic legacy they left their families. Item #4961
