All issues illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs; some diagrams, tables and illustrations included. Light foxing on spines and edges of text block, light foxing inside covers, covers slightly worn, Issue 4 has a slight bend in the top right corner; otherwise a near-fine set. First edition.

Volume 14 of the American Aviation Historical Society's quarterly journal includes informative and well-researched articles on a wide range of aviation-related topics. Examples of the featured articles in the four issues include: "Perils and Pitfalls of Test Pilots" (Number 1); "Sugar Baker Two Uncle" (Number 1); "Czech Air Archives" (Number 2); "F6F Color & Markings per SR-2" (Number 2); "Capt. Each issue also includes a "News and Comment from Members" and an "Aviation Literature" section along with other regular features. Loosely inserted at the front of Issue 2 is a copy of "An Address Before the Washington Aero Club", dated Tuesday 22nd April 1969, by S.
