Former T.A.A. Publicity Manager Ian Sabey tells the story of Australia's first national airline. The airline was developed following World War Two with many ex-servicemen being employed as groundsmen and pilots. The creation of a national airline was not without its detractors and challenges, but Sabey recounts how the visionary determination of first Prime Minister John Curtin and then Prime Minister Ben Chifley ensured T.A.A came into being.
