The title of this work translates as "Rocket-fighter Me 163, A Factual Report from One of the Survivors". Mano Ziegler was one of only 30 or so pilots who were involved in Germany's testing of the world's first fully airworthy rocket plane, the Messerschmitt 163 Komet. The pilots were entrusted with the operational development of the Me 163 during World War Two under a veil of deep secrecy. Ziegler tells his account of one of the most mysterious and legendary chapters in the history of aviation in vivid and dramatic detail. Item #4908
