This handsome volume is an account of the German V1 and V2 offensive of 1944 to 1945, carried out at the tail end of World War Two. Basil Collier – Intelligence Officer for Britain's Fighter Command, historian and writer – also includes a discussion on the decisions that shaped events and the implications behind them, as well as a history of pilotless aircraft and long-range rockets.
