This publication comprises a preface by Jeremy Wilson, a Lawrence scholar, and an essay on Grainger's life in British Columbia by Don Stewart, a bookseller. The focus of this publication is of course the unrecorded and never published before letter written by T.E. Shaw (i.e. Lawrence) in 1929 to British Columbia's first chief forested, Martin Allerdale Grainger. Indeed, Grainger had suggested that Lawrence should consider settling down in the British Columbia province. Item #4843
