Top and tail spine ends a little bumped and rubbed, spine faded and worn, edges of covers rubbed, covers worn, text block's edges have areas marks from insects, fore-edge and tail-edge of text block foxed, foxing on leaves throughout, browning on some leaves at back, dust-jacket is worn and torn with some loss of text at top and tail edges of spine and front cover; overall a good copy. First edition. Novel number 36 in John Hamilton Ltd's The Ace Series, this action-packed story tells of the continued escapades of Lieutenant Barry Link, first introduced to readers in Lynx V.C. In this volume, Link is loaned to the English Secret Service by the Air Ministry in order to locate secret German papers in Brussels. Aside from several adventures in the air, Lynx risks his life by posing as a German airmen, discovers the whereabouts of a secret aerodrome and endeavours to thwart a scheme that might win the war for Germany.
