Lower edge of spine rubbed, covers a little discoloured, light foxing of pages throughout, otherwise a very good copy. Revised edition of the 1937 first edition. This fascinating piece of philatelic history focuses on aerophilately, the collection and study of stamp and covers associated with the carriage of mail by air. Air mail was relatively rare when Eustis first published his work, which garnered much interest at the time. Although interest waned following the war, commemorative air mail flights that occurred from 1955 onwards breathed new life into the aerophilately world.
