A very personal account by John Loeblein of his World War One experiences as Assistant Engineer Officer of the Aviation Section of the Signal Corps, U.S. Army, while stationed at Kelly Field, San Antonio, Kansas. Loeblein recounts his and his colleagues' day-to-day activities during flight training of students at the Field, along with some of the more unusual events that occurred there between 1917 and 1918.
