London: George Newnes Limited, 1941. Tall octavo, sky-blue cloth, spine and cover embossed with gilt lettering, viii, 124 pp., illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs and diagrams. Spine ends and top and tail edges of cover rubbed, spine faded and ends bumped, light foxing on front endpapers, front free endpaper and the front cover of the dust-jacket have a tape mark on the top right corner and "TB245" written by hand. A library stamp appears on the front of the dust-jacket, on the back loose endpaper and on leaf 62. The stamps on the front cover of the dust-jacket and front free endpaper are dated by hand with "7/6/47". Dust-jacket is worn, torn and foxed with minor loss of text on the spine. Overall, a very good copy with a good dust-jacket. 1941 reprint. Volume 16 in the Aeroplane Maintenance and Operation Series.
