An account of Anthony Fokker, Dutch aviation pioneer and designer of the Fokker D-7 model, from his early childhood to his forties. Fokker is famous for the fighter aircraft he produced in Germany during World War One. After the treaty of Versailles forbade Germany to maintain an airforce, Fokker moved his business to the Netherlands and produced various successful aircraft, including the Fokker Trimotor passenger plane.
