Spine ends and corners a little bumped and rubbed, dust-jacket a little worn at top edge; otherwise a near-fine copy. 1970 reprint. A comprehensive history of the world's aeronautical progress and civil aviation, including a descriptive list of the world's aeroplanes, current at the end of 1946. As described by Leonard Bridgman in the preface, this volume is "essentially a war [World War Two] edition" of the Jane's series. It contains extensive documentation of the aircraft used by the combatant forces right up to the end of the war and includes once-classified information on German aircraft.
