Very light transfer of ink between leaves 6 and 7 without loss of text, otherwise a near-fine copy. 1993 reprint. Harry Hawker was an Australian of pioneer stock who left school at twelve yet went on to play a key role in the Sopwith Aviation Company, which produced Pup and Camel aircraft in World War One. He also founded Hawker Aircraft, which produced Schneider Trophy-winning aircraft between the wars, and the Hurricane of World War Two. Item #4648
