First edition. A general history of the Antarctic up to 1950, and an explanation of the political dispute of the late 1940s between Great Britain, Argentina and Chile over the area of the Antarctic continent located south of South America. Written by a former staff member of the British Embassy, Buenos Aires, who served at the time of the dispute. Item #4619
