A history of the first fifty years of the Royal Australian Air Force base established at Williamtown in 1941 during World War Two. This volume covers the turbulent war years, the post-war years of development and the emergence of RAAF Base Williamtown as one of Australia's premier fighting bases. The Aviation Society of Newcastle was invited to create this work by Group Captain R.B. Gregory AFC, OC Base Support Wing, to mark the base's 50th anniversary.
