Second printing of first edition. A fictionalised memoir by R.A.F bomber navigator Don Charlwood. Based on his and his crew's own experiences during World War Two, Charlwood captures in moving detail their arduous and life-threatening tour of operations, including the death, injury and capture of a substantial number of his men over the course of 30 missions.
