A Soldier of the Sky
Chicago: Davis Printing Works, 1918. Octavo, original blue cloth, 232 pp., 14 plates; white lettering and small paste-down picture of the author on front cover. Some white lettering chipped, signed by author, a very good copy. The author, after serving with the Highland Light Infantry in India, was wounded in the trenches. He transferred to the RFC and received flight training at Upavon before being posted to France in December 1915. Units and personnel are not identified. Scarce copy. Inscription reads "Sincerely from the Author. Capt. George Fredrik Campbell RFC." Item #43
