This is a story of man's journey to reach the geographic poles by using a single mode of travel - flight. As the airship and aeroplane were emerging technologies at the time, they were heavily taken advantage of for polar exploration. The book illustrates how the achievements of polar exploration were made using aircraft as the primary form of travel. Item #414
