Octavo, 124 pp. Cover dirty and browning due to poor quality paper, some staining to preliminary leaves, erasure of old inscription on front paste-down endpaper, old ownership inscription to front free endpaper. Early Great War military flying stories from 1915 and early 1916. After 1916 and eight months in hospital, the author ceased flying and became a "Wing Adjutant" Details of the RFC in the east during 1917 were observed by the author. Published under the pseudonym of "Wing Adjutant" as flying officers were not allowed to publish under their own names early in the war. Item #41
