Some discolouration affects the spine panel, edges foxed, previous owner's stamp on half-title page and front endpaper, cantered. Dust-jacket worn and laid down. Overall a good copy. The autobiography of an Anglican missionary priest working in Arnhem Land during the thirties, much of which was performed in the light aircraft 'Sky Pilot'. The author describes his compulsion to missionary work in Arnhem Land, and his journey from Melbourne to the Church of England mission station at the Roper River (to which he had been appointed). This book is of some interest as an account of pioneering outback aviation in the Top-End, and is filled with humorous anecdotes of a time now long passed. Item #402
