This is the story of the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve. Written by Mike Crosley, who started training with the Fleet Air Arm on the day of the Battle of Taranto and went on to serve aboard the HMS Eagle on the notorious Malta convoy run. Surviving the Eagle's sinking Crosley went onto fly Spitfires towards the end of World War Two. Item #3995
