Octavo, original blue cloth, 210 pp. Spine sunned, front and rear hinges split (not detached), old ownership inscription to front end-paper, pages slightly browned, a fair copy. Early Great War military flying stories from 1915 and early 1916. After 1916 and eight months in hospital, the author ceased flying and became a "Wing Adjutant" Details of the RFC in the east during 1917 were observed by the author. Published under the pseudonym of "Wing Adjutant" as flying officers were not allowed to publish under their own names early in the war. Item #39
