Various army officers contributed to this book written and published for the Australian Military Forces covering the battle the Australian Army was fighting against the Japanese along the island front from Bougainville to Borneo, and is retold by first hand accounts in an anecdotal fashion. The book includes campaign maps of Bougainville, Aitape-Wewak, New Britain, Tarakan, North Borneo, and Balikpapan. Item #3868
