Quarto, original blue paper titling wrappers, paginated [101]-131 pp., three double-sided photo plates and a large folding map of the region with Mawson's route marked. The wrappers are a bit stained and marked. This paper was reprinted from the journal of the Royal Geographical Society (volume 80, number 2, for August 1932), and comprises the advance notice of discoveries by the British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition of 1929-1931. This work was primarily a marine scientific and cartographic survey of the Antarctic coastline. The plates include images of Enderby Land (Cape Batterbee) and Mac-Robertson Land, including the Murray Monolith. Item #371
