The Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force was formed in 1941 and was the largest of the World War Two Australian Women Services, with approximately 27 thousand women enlisted between 1941 and 1945. This book is a personal account by the author of their own experience serving the W.A.A.A.F. and details what daily life was like from the strenuous training of 'rookies' to the secret activities and duties on various radar stations.
