Preliminary leaves a bit chipped at one corner, wrappers rubbed and coming loose, but complete and reasonable condition. Uncommon public relations publication issued by the Australian News and Information Bureau (an agency of the Australian Government based in New York), at the height of the Second World War. The aim of the booklet was to educate the American public on the extent of the Australian commitment to the Allied cause.
The text of this booklet first appeared in The Infantry Journal for June 1943. It details campaigns underway in Syria, Tobruk, Greece, Malaya, El Alamein, Timor and Papua. The front cover features a portrait of Corporal Jim Gordon, V.C. Item #3524
