The Black Pirates: 400th Bomb Squadron of the 90th Group, Jolly Rogers, was one of the B-24 Bomber Groups of the U.S. 5th Army Air Force. This picture book includes combat crews against the Imperial Japanese Military in New Guinea in 1943-44 and the events at Philippine Islands which occurred in 1944. It celebrates the role of the 400th Bomb Squadron personnel and their role in the southwest Pacific theatre between 1942 until 1944. Item #343
