For example, two of the American airlines debentures from the early 1980's are for $25,000 apiece, roughly equivalent to two hundred thousand United States dollars at current value (reckoned as relative exchange value or buying power).
The collection comprises 24 debentures and four share certificates issued by Pan Am in 1991. The companies who issued the debentures are: Trans World, American Airlines, United Airlines, United Aircraft Corporation, and American Airlines.
