Localised stains on front wrapper, small tears on title leaf with no loss of text, otherwise a good copy. Foreword by W. H. Simmons, editor of The Mercury. A selection of fifteen articles on polar expeditions initially published in The Mercury and The Illustrated Tasmanian Mail.

These articles deals with the whaling expeditions and other maritime adventures in the Ross Sea which were undertaken between 1923 and 1924. Item #3267
