Some folds to top edge on preliminary leaves, otherwise a very good copy. The American author went to France in 1916 and volunteered for the French air service. He flew as a pilot with French Escadrille No. 102. Somewhat technical description of flying and air fighting. Interesting later chapter on Americans and their recognition for flying with the French in the war. Item #29
