Lawrence and the Arabs
London: Jonathon Cape, 1927. Octavo, original imprinted brown cloth, 454 pp., frontispiece, 27 plates. Mild foxing on the spine, rubbed at spine ends, bottom edge leaves marked in blue pen with no loss of text, some spotting, otherwise a good copy. In the introduction Robert Graves notes that Lawrence (whom by this time used the name Shaw) gave his permission for this biography, hoping that it would sate public curiosity and allow an unobtrusive return to civilian life following service in the Royal Air Force.
