The Flying Tigers were a group of American volunteer pilots who, between 1941 and 1942, fought the Japanese army in Burma and China. Their missions constituted in providing air cover, fighting the Japanese forces over the south-western parts of China and bringing needed supplies. Despite the difficulty of such missions, these pilots inflicted significant damages to the Japanese army. Item #2861
