Armstrong was commissioned a Pilot Officer in the RAF and, at some point, worked for Punch magazine. The Royal Air Force asked Anthony Armstrong to work on new training material. The Royal Air Force desired something light-hearted. Armstrong collaborated with Hooper who illustrated TEE EMM using Armstrong's notebook character which he had named Percy Prune.
Prune's Progess is a fictional account of Pilot-Officer Prune and a brief history of the Prune family over the Stone Age to World War One. Item #2806
