Cloth thumbed, boards slightly bumped at extremities, some foxing on endpapers, otherwise a vry good copy. The wartime journal of Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker, one of America's top surviving fighter ace in World War I. In his journal, Rickenbacker recounts the operations and combat missions he performed against German forces in the skies over Europe during the Great War.

Captain Rickenbacker totalled 26 aerial victories and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Medal of Honor, in 1930, and the Légion d'Honneur as well as the Croix de Guerre by France. Item #2631
