A treatise on naval aeronautics which discusses multiple subjects such as: strategy and tactics, attacks on ships at sea, and submarine hunting by aircraft as well as naval anti-aircraft defences, and specifications for United States Navy scouting. A few sections are dedicated to the United States Navy aeronautics, the regulations regarding the enrolments in the United States Naval Reserve Flying Corps as well as the evolution of the seaplane and the flying boat.
