Norwich: Privately Printed, 1963. Octavo, blue decorated cloth with gilt spine lettering, xvi, 496 pp., frontispiece, eight plates, eight maps and two diagrams. Cloth dulled, internally excellent. A personal account of Albert E. Cowton of his experiences as in the Royal Marine Light Infantry and the Royal Naval Air Service. Later on he served in the Royal Air Force as a pilot in the 27 (Bomber) Squadron. Most of the book concerns travel and aviation in the Middle East, Afghanistan and India. Item #2532
