The autobiography of the great Australian airman, Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith, who narrated in great detail the story of his flying life - a life so full of adventure, romance, danger, thrill, and excitement, that it is an epic of the Air Age. This book, published posthumously, brings forth his early struggles, his first great flight across the Pacific Ocean, his numerous flights around the world and the startling series of flights across the Tasman Sea, when on several occasions he and his companions were very near to death. The illustrations were chosen by Lady Kingsford-Smith herself. Item #2447
