A personal autobiographical account by the famous New Zealand born fighter pilot Captain Alan Deere. Contains good accounts of the air war over Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain. Recipient of the Croix de Guerre, Deere official score by 1943 was impressive: 22 enemy planes destroyed, another 10 probable hits, and 18 damaged. This book is now a classic autobiographical account of the Battle of Britain. Item #2369
