The author's personal memoir of his experiences during World War Two, including service with the Sydney University Regiment and the RAAF from 1941 to 1945. Assheton Taylor completed his flying training in the UK and was finally posted to No. 460 RAAF (Lancaster) Squadron at Binbrook in September 1943 as the Navigator in a substantially Australian crew.
