After amassing one of the largest flying badge collections (either held in public or private) anywhere in the world, the author endeavoured to obtain personal badges from top-scoring fighter pilot aces from various countries beginning with World War I. Eventually, he obtained signed photos of 170 leading aces from 21 different countries, and authenticating letters stating that they had sent him their personal badge. Item #2083
