London: Duckworth, 1929. Octavo, original blue cloth, 214 pp., frontispiece and seven photo plates. Cloth rubbed and scuffed, spine ends a bit worn, internally in very good order. The author was an early member of the Royal Flying Corps and learned to fly Maurice Farman biplanes. A founding member of the 45 Squadron, he was posted to France in late 1916. Eventually flying the Sopwith Camel, he is credited with eleven enemy aircraft and was awarded the Military Cross. Item #200
