London: John Hamilton, circa 1950. Octavo, original blue cloth with black lettering, 288, 20 pp., frontispiece and five plates. Although one corner of the boards is bumped, this is an excellent copy in a well preserved dust-jacket. Following capture and detention by the Germans, the author was commanding officer of 56 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps. Credited with downing six enemy aircraft, Captain Duncan Grinnell-Milne wrote this colourful and engaging autobiography which remains a First War aviation classic. Item #199
