Binding a little scuffed, slight offsetting from the frontispiece to the title-page, internally excellent and a most handsome copy overall. Classic account of American frontier life, with good descriptions of Confederate officers, Texas as a wild and inaccessible state, camping rough in the wilderness, Buffalo hunting, and sundry sports.
