Puncture in centre of front board which has indented preliminary pages, spine moderately sunned, front hinge partially split, damage to front endpaper, internally in sound order. Hall, an American, served with the English Army in the Royal Fusiliers from 1914-15. He enlisted in the French Army and flew with the Lafayette Escadrille Spa. 112 from 1917-18. He went on in his writing to be one of the definitive chroniclers of the Lafayette Flying Corps. Item #16
